SEARCHER OF
HEART AND MIND
“I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind,
to reward a man according to his conduct.”
Jeremiah 17:10
FROM THE FATHER'S HEART
My child, do you often weary of the temptation to do wrong? I know you would like to sweep away every wrong desire that ever enters your mind. But these come to test and make you strong, to see if your foundation will stand. Don’t give in. One day you will battle that will no more. But for now, submit every thought and action to Me. I am the searcher of your heart and mind, and I will gently help you, not condemn you. Trust Me for strength.
A GRATEFUL RESPONSE
Lord, how do I know whether my motives are pure all the time? You read me like a book. You know me completely, inside and out. That brings me both relief and reverence. Thank You for being a searcher of heart and mind, and for purging my reasons and thoughts. Let everything in me give glory to You, Lord.
SIMPLE TRUTH
Peace comes when we exchange our excuses for God’s reasons.
