SANCTUARY
I will put my sanctuary
among them forever.
Ezekiel 37:26
FROM THE FATHER'S HEART
My child, throughout Scripture My people wanted to house My presence inside walls built by human hands. But it was only a symbol at best of My real presence which is with you always. I cannot be confined behind mortar or brick. Wherever My Spirit abides, there I am a sanctuary for hurting hearts. I am your sanctuary in the midst of your storms or in the celebration of your worship. In Me you will always find a safe place to hide.
A GRATEFUL RESPONSE
Lord, it was not just Your house, Your temple, Your church that became a sanctuary for worshipers. You, Yourself, are my Sanctuary. Wherever You are, I find peace and contentment. In Your presence I find a safe and permanent refuge, a holy place where I can rest and worship and live all of my days. Thank You for making my heart a sanctuary for Your use.
SIMPLE TRUTH
Home is a sanctuary, only if Jesus lives there.
